5. The neighbor you beggar is a customer you’ve lost.
You own a share in the world, your country, your government, your laws,
your economy, your community, your public discourse, and in the
well-being of its citizenry. Do not let yourself be tricked into
despising it. The share you abandon will be snatched up by the same
people who are telling you it’s worthless.
