  1. “Too many numpties in power.” Also, governmental action should never be merely adequate, and unfortunaly often falls far under even that level.

    1. It’s a truism that any governmental action must be simultaneously too much and not enough, in that it is usually directing a great deal of effort at solving things that aren’t problems and causing a great number of things that are.

      1. Which is why when spaceflight becomes easy for us, we should follow Douglas Adam’s way of handling certain segments of the population…
